Service Description  :    Establishing nursery and organizing producing and Circulation of seedlings 

Required Documents:

1. Request for Nursery LicenseApplication form.
2. Site map of the nursery that shows its area, border, and location signed by the nursery manager.
3. The ownership or tenant contract of the nursery.
   Emirate's competent authority approval.
4. Certificate certifying nursery soil pest/disease free and good irrigation water from the competent agricultural zone administration.
5. Surveying report from the competent agricultural zone administration.

The following conditions shall be observed for establishing a nursery:

• The minimum nursery area shall be a two donum of one lot area.
• The nursery location shall be close to roads.
• The nursery location shall be far away from neglected gardens and those infested with dangerous pests.
• The nursery soil shall be cultivable with suitable natural and chemical specifications and soil pest free and
  in case of using artificial or moved soil it shall be free pests.
• A good irrigation water source shall be available in addition to a good draining system appropriate for the
  soil nature and the plants as well.
• Essential constructions shall be made available for serving the nursery such as an office, store and water
  closet.
• The nursery manager shall have at least a Bachelor of Agriculture and enjoys a technical and practical
  nursery experiences.
• The nursery shall keep manual records to enter kinds and varieties of various seedlings especially root
  stocks, grafting techniques, sources thereof planting and grading dates, agricultural practices techniques and
  dates thereof and other data that produce production confidence and help buyers selecting property
  provided that such records shall be kept for at least a five-year period.
• The nursery production shall confine to those kinds and verities that can adapt to the country's
  environmental conditions.
• Suitable stickers or labels shall be put on each seedling set for sale showing name, kind, variety planting
  and grafting date of the seedling.
